DA-1220

DA-1220 by Dairen Chemical is a water-redispersible vinyl acetate and ethylene copolymer powder. It contains polyvinyl alcohol as protective colloid. It enhances adhesion, flexural strength, plasticity, abrasion resistance and workability of modified compounds. It contains fine, mineral filler as anti-block agents. It is free of solvents, plasticizers and film-forming aids. DA-1220 is used in tile adhesives, repair mortars and thermal insulation systems. Recommended dosage for thin-bed tile adhesives with good frost resistance is 1-5%, for thermal insulation systems is 2.5 % and for repair mortars is 1-6%. The shelf life of this grade is 6 months.
