UCAR™ Latex 9189

UCAR™ Latex 9189 by Dow is a stable coater-ready, inherently pressure-sensitive acrylic copolymer emulsion. It forms remarkably clear dry film. It possesses good clarity and water whiteness on clear face stocks, superior adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces and very good flow and leveling. UCAR™ Latex 9189 offers very good balance of peel, tack, and cohesive strength. It is easily applied by reverse gravure or mayer rod coaters. It is compatible with high line speeds. It gives good response to tackifiers. It is used in general-purpose film and paper label applications.
