Viton™ IBR-401C

Viton™ IBR-401C by Chemours is bisphenol curative terpolymer of fluoroethylene, vinylidene fluoride and propylene. It is designed for optimized performance in applications which demand resistance to the very aggressive additive packages typical of those used in automotive lubricating oils. Viton™ IBR-401C exhibits improved resistance to amines, and amine-based additives. It provides good service ability in aggressive motor oils, transmission fluids, and coolants that contain high levels of aggressive corrosion inhibitors. It forms a strong bond that can flex without failure after repeated temperature cycling and vibration in adhesives applications.
