Butvar® B-79 by Eastman is polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin applicable for adhesives. Imparts adhesion, toughness, and flexibility. Provides the highest shear strength and high peel strength at very low temperatures. Offers excellent dielectric properties and exceptionally good creep resistance. Butvar® B-79 can be crosslinked with thermoset systems.
