Eastman AQ™ 55S

Eastman AQ™ 55S is a low tack sulfopolyester designed by Eastman for non-food contact tapes. Offers excellent film formation with and without alcohol, smudge resistance, tunable firmness and water resistance. It disperses directly in hot water without the assistance of surfactants or other additives. It is a high gloss Polyester-5. Eastman AQ™ 55S aids the dispersion of many hydrophobic ingredients in water-based products. Provides excellent hold under high-humidity conditions and stiffness that is easily modified with plasticizers and thickeners.
