Elevance C18™ 202 is a bio-based specialty polyester polyol by Elevance Renewable Sciences. Shows high performance and possesses low pre-polymer viscosity as well as low hydrolytic stability. It is synthesized from the secondary cross metathesis of C10 and C12 unsaturated esters. Exhibits improved processability, faster throughput, superior tensile & tear strength, good abrasion-, water- and solvent/ oil resistance. Elevance C18™ 202 enables low/ zero VOC and high solids adhesive formulations.
