Silcolease® Emulsion 907

Silcolease® Emulsion 907 by Elkem Silicones is an optima silicone emulsion. It cures as a base polymer by polyaddition reaction in a 3-part formulation with crosslinker Silcolease® Emulsion XL 969 and organometallic catalyst Silcolease® Emulsion Cata 903. Exhibits potential to be used with low catalyst levels (OPTIMA XL) and different crosslinkers, theerby offering good anchorage. Shows greater formulation flexibility, has a longer shelf life than the 2 component system and no hydrogen evolution risk as crosslinker component is supplied separately. Silcolease® Emulsion 907 is used in adhesives for protectors (envelopes, personal care, labels) and industrial type backings (transfer paper, tapes). It may be used to coat substrates that meet “food contact application” requirements.
