Vistamaxx™ 6202FL by ExxonMobil Chemical is prropylene-based elastomer. It offers good durability, softness, excellent sealing properties and mechanical properties. It provides excellent adhesion, very good elasticity, flexibility, toughness and melt strength. Exhibits more mileage for the same weight through low density, reduced adhesive applicator maintenance and exceptional thermal stability. Provides good cling and tack performance in cast stretch film and offers outstanding optical properties and improved recyclability. It has a consistent pot stability which reduces charring, gelling and therefore clogged nozzles. This in turn minimizes cost for cleanup and maintenance. This olefinic elastomer is composed of isotactic propylene repeat units with random ethylene distribution. Can be blended with PP, PE and other polyolefins. It is used in aqueous systems and non-hydrocarbon based fluids. Suitable for a wide range of cast and blown film, packaging and compounding applications. Applications in protection films, masking tapes, lamination, woven and non-woven industries. FL designates that this product passes ExxonMobil Chemical's test for film appearance with regard to gels, as needed for performance film applications (A rating). Vistamaxx™ 6202FL is FDA, EU and RoHS compliant.
