Vistamaxx™ 7050FL

Vistamaxx™ 7050FL by ExxonMobil Chemical is propylene-based elastomer. It offers good durability, softness, excellent sealing properties and mechanical properties. It provides excellent adhesion, chemical resistance and very good elasticity. It exhibits more mileage for the same weight through low density, reduced adhesive applicator maintenance and exceptional thermal stability. It improves cling and tack performance in cast stretch film and offers outstanding optical properties and improved recyclability. It has a consistent pot stability which reduces charring, gelling and therefore clogged nozzles. This in turn minimizes cost for cleanup and maintenance. This olefinic elastomer is composed of isotactic propylene repeat units with random ethylene distribution. Can be blended with PP, PE and other polyolefins, including styrenic block copolymers. Used in aqueous systems and non-hydrocarbon based fluids. Vistamaxx™ 7050FL is suitable for spunbound and meltblown non-woven, hygiene and personal care industries. FL designates that this product passes ExxonMobil Chemical's test for film appearance with regard to gels, as needed for performance film applications (A rating). FDA, EU and RoHS compliant.
