GABEPRO™ GPE-228

GABEPRO™ GPE-228 by Huntsman is a bis(3,4- epoxycyclohexylmethyl) adipate. Acts as flexibilizing cycloaliphatic epoxy resin. It reacts in the presence of acid anhydride curing agents at higher. With about 200°C martin heat resistance, the cured product is suitable for use at high temperatures between 200-250°C for long periods. Has low viscosity, good fluidity, and long-term stability at ambient temperature. It is a unique structure that gives increased alkali and water resistance. Used in reinforced plastics, solvent-free adhesive giving outstanding performance for UV resistance and anti-radiation properties and also in flexible packaging, laminating adhesives, electrical & electronic insulation, potting for transformers and high voltage coils applications.
