EPIKOTE™ Resin 240 by Westlake Epoxy is a low viscosity epoxy resin based on a blend of bisphenol-A resin (produced from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin) and bisphenol-F resin (produced from bisphenol-F and epichlorohydrin). It contains an added proportion of a mono-epoxidized alcohol as a reactive diluent. It possesses low volatility and pigment/filler as well as substrate wetting. This grade imparts good mechanical performance. EPIKOTE™ Resin 240 is used in adhesive applications. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
