EPON™ Resin 161

EPON™ Resin 161 by Westlake Epoxy is a multi-functional epoxidized phenolic novolac resin. It combines relatively low viscosity with good thermal stability and superior chemical resistance properties. It is used as the sole resin component or in combination with standard resins and HELOXY™ Modifiers normally used in epoxy formulations. It is capable of curing with all classes of curing agents. It offers high functionality and thermal resistance. It is used in high temperature adhesives and laminating binders. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 161 is 5 years.
