Araldite® GT 6703

High flow solid epoxy resin based on bisphenol-A. Has the epoxy equivalent of a "type" solid epoxy resin and the viscosity of a "type 2" resin. The softening point of Araldite® GT 6703 is slightly higher than that of a "type 2" resin. The low viscosity properties of this resin do not compromise the mechanical properties and chemical resistance of the coatings. A 50:50 epoxy/polyester combination is considered optimal for hybrid powders based on Araldite® GT 6703. Araldite® GT 6703 must be used in combination with a flow agent such as masterbatch Araldite® GT 2874 in order to obtain optimal flow properties.
