PKHS-MI by Huntsman is a 32% NV solution of phenoxy resin in PM acetate and cyclohexanone. It is a tough, ductile, amorphous polymer having excellent thermal stability, adhesive and cohesive strength, and excellent vapor barrier properties. It can also react with crosslinkers like isocyanates, phenolic & melamine resins along the backbone hydroxyl groups. It provides ease of handling in a lower viscosity pumpable fluid. PKHS-MI is used in adhesives and sealants.
