Tactix® 742

Tactix® 742 by Huntsman is a tris-(hydroxyl phenyl) methane-based epoxy resin. It has symetrical and rigid backbone and large distance between epoxy reactive groups. Provides very high glass transition temperature and excellent thermal stability. Tactix® 742 is used in structural adhesives and composite formulation, especially for parts and components near high-heat zones. Also used in exterior vehicle (OEM), interior vehicle (OEM), vehicle assembly (OEM), battery cover sealing & battery assembly, cable sealing, motor and magnet bonding, potting and encapsulating, assembly, thermally & electrically conductive, household appliance assembly, sporting goods, medical device assembly, aircraft & aerospace, marine, rail, recreational vehicle, truck, sport & leisure in adhesive applications.
