EXCEVAL™ RS-2817 by Kuraray is a water resistant, hydrophobically modified polyvinyl alcohol. Used as a dispersing aid/ protective colloid for the manufacture of polyvinyl acetate emulsion for wood adhesives. Offers gas barrier versus oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and organic substances. EXCEVAL™ RS-2817 exhibits high film forming property.
