KURARAY POVAL™ 60-98

KURARAY POVAL™ 60-98 is a fully saponified and hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol by Kuraray. It is manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It displays excellent mechanical strength when applied as a film on paper or paperboard making it suitable for use as a surface sizing agent. Designed for release paper for pressure sensitive adhesive labels. Surfaces treated with KURARAY POVAL™ 60-98 repel hydrophobic products such as oil, grease and fat. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
