Hycar® 1572 by Lubrizol is a carboxylated, heat reactive, anionically stabilized, medium acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer emulsion. It is a true colloid having spherical particles. Used in adhesives, caulks and mastics. Offers very good resistance to fuels, solvents, oils and greases, good abrasion resistance and toughness. Hycar® 1572 provides good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and good chemical resistance.
