Hycar® 1581 by Lubrizol is a carboxylated, anionically stabilized, high acrylo-butadiene copolymer emulsion. Suitable for adhesives, caulks, sealants, gaskets and with phenolic and epoxy resin emulsions for adhesive applications. Offers very good resistance to fuels, solvents, oils and greases, good abrasion resistance and toughness. Hycar® 1581 provides good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates and good chemical resistance.
