Vycar™ 460X95

Technical DataSheet | Supplied by Lubrizol

Vinyl chloride copolymer. This emulsion with synthetic anionic emulsifier is a source of chlorine for flame retardancy and a compounding base for adhesives on heat-sensitive or thermoplastic substrates. It is stiff, abrasion-resistant and compoundable with flame-retardant plasticizers, antimony oxide as well as diammonium phosphate salt for flame-retardant adhesives. Has compatibility in all proportions when blended with other Vycar® latexes, low temperature heat curing without catalyst, ease of plasticization, excellent substrate adhesion and improved resistance to water as well as perchloroethylene. Used in textiles and nonwoven applications.
