FTR™ 2140 by Mitsui Chemicals is an amorphous, blend of a-methylstyrene and styrene copolymer. Possesses high molecular weight relative to softening point. Exhibits excellent color and heat stability. Offers low odor, excellent high-temperature adhesion and improves coalescence. Provides good solubility in various solvents. FTR™ 2140 is used in hot melt adhesives for book binding, packaging and varieties of adhesive tape applications.
