Chemigum® P615-D by Omnova Solutions (Synthomer) is a medium viscosity co-polymer of butadiene-acrylonitrile partitioned with calcium carbonate. It can be used as secondary binder to modify friction materials in combination with phenolic resins. It possesses resistance to swelling. It offers compatibility with many resins for various adhesive applications. It provides bounding on substrates such as leather, felt, cork, wood, aluminium, steel and most plastics.
