Stepanpol® PD-200 LV

Diethylene glycol-phthalic anhydride-based polyester polyol. Used in formulating urethane adhesives and sealants. Possesses low Tg, amorphous (or non crystalline) morphology and good wetting capacities. Lowers melt viscosity and flow point. Increases elasticity. Exhibits very good hydrolysis resistance, good thermal stability and low polyol viscosity. Promotes adhesion to a variety of metal and plastic substrates. Offers good hardness/flexibility balance, clarity and low color. Can improve selected physical properties such as tensile strength, modulus and tear strength as well as compatibility with some polyethers and some isocyanates.
