VINNAPAS® EF 539

VINNAPAS® EF 539 by Wacker is an aqueous dispersion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer. It was developed as a low environmental impact binder for intermediate grade caulk formulations. It has a low glass transition temperature (Tg). It is manufactured without the use of alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEOs). No formaldehyde or formaldehyde donors are intentionally added. VINNAPAS® EF 539 meets the performance requirements of ASTM C-834 standard specifications for latex sealants, including artificial weathering, extension-recovery, low temperature flex, slump, tack-free time and stain index. It complies with AICS, ECL, ENCS, DSL, TSCA and REACH inventory. VINNAPAS® EF 539 has a shelf life of 9 months.
