VINNAPAS® EP 706

VINNAPAS® EP 706 by Wacker is vinyl acetate-ethylene based copolymer. Exhibits good machinability and strong wet tack and does provide better adhesion to films such as polyvinyl chloride. Exhibits very high plasticizer/solvent viscosity thickening responses. Compatible with polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) polymers, rubber lattices, EVCL dispersions and VINNAPAS® VAE dispersions. It bonds such widely diversified substrates as paper, wood, cotton cloth, nylon cloth, hardboard, urethane foam and certain types of coated paperboard. Especially, it shows an excellent gloss and adhesion strength in OPP wet lamination applications. Market applications of VINNAPAS® EP 706 include packaging (window cartons and carton forming), envelop and bookbinding, textiles and upholstery, PVC lamination and OPP wet lamination, packaging for difficult-to-bond substrates and packaging. It has a shelf life of 9 months.
