EPON™ Resin 58901 by Westlake Epoxy is a high viscosity, elastomer modified epoxy functional adduct. It is formed from the reaction of EPON™ Resin 828 and a carboxylated butadiene-acrylonitrile elastomer. The primary use of this resin is in the modification of conventional epoxy systems to increase flexibility and impart tack to provide early green strength to adhesive systems. It shows broad compatibility with conventional bisphenol A epoxies. The shelf life of EPON™ Resin 58901 is 5 years.
