Nipol® 1072X28 by Zeon Chemical is carboxylated nitrile elastomer. It is a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile with medium oil resistance, modified to contain free carboxylic groups. It provides a pre-crosslinked version of Nipol® 1072. It exhibits low nerve for extrusion and calendered goods. Nipol® 1072X28 is used in adhesive compounding. It is cold processable. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
