Zetpol® 1020

Zetpol® 1020 by Zeon Chemical is hydrogenated nitrile elastomer (HNBR). It is sulfur-curable suitable for fuel-resistant hose, diaphragm, and seal applications. It provides superior service in tough environment applications. It shows much higher resistance than NBR elastomers to heat, sour gasoline, and ozone as well as retention of properties at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 160°C. It displays lower brittleness temperature than NBR with the same volume swell in gasoline, is more cost-effective than FKM and exhibits minimal deterioration when exposed to special oil additives. Zetpol® 1020 is used in adhesives compounding.
