Thermoplastics Polyurethanes Adhesives (TPU): Techno Brief

This guide contains significant information regarding thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) for the adhesives and sealants industry. TPUs are formed by linear polymeric chains comprising a small proportion of hard segments and soft segments. Should you work with TPU this guide would prove to be a worthy source of TPU technology in adhesives and industrial applications that have been exploiting its benefits and performance characteristics.

Thermoplastic Polyurethane Key Benefits

TPU adhesive is polyurethane used in a wide range of applications. Industries select TPUs for their applications to benefit from their broad combination of properties such as their adjustable sealing temperature, their formulation versatility or their high hot tack:

Hi I am going to produce TPU solvent based adhesive as PSA adhesive. Should I add some additives or not? Is TPU alone in solvent stable? thanks.
