Adhesives ingredients supplied by UBE

UBE’s ETERNACOLL® is a series of polycarbonate diols (PCD) used for a wide range of polyurethane-based adhesive & sealant formulations. They can be incorporated in formulations for TPU, PUD or any kind of polyurethanes. They provide extreme durability and high performance, such as high thermal stability, increased adhesion performance, excellent hydrolytic stability, and improve chemical resistance.

Different grades available in the series are mentioned below:

ETERNACOLL® UH – Solvent-free, solid liner aliphatic polycarbonate diol
ETERNACOLL® PH – Liquid co-polycarbonate diol with two links of diols
ETERNACOLL® UHC – Solvent-free, linear aliphatic polycarbonate/polyester polyol
ETERNACOLL® UT - Linear aliphatic polycarbonate/polyether polyol with low viscosity
ETERNACOLL® UC and ETERNACOLL® UM - Cyclic diol-based PCD and co-polycarbonate diol respectively (two kinds of diols are used). Solvent-free

The extreme durability provided by Eternacoll® Polycabonate Diols to polyurethane adhesives makes them suitable for various applications, such as: industrial assembly, adhesives exposed to harsh environments, sealants, footwear adhesives, aerospace, taps & labels, automotive, packaging, etc.
