Carpet adhesives lay recycling path

Adhesives' tenacious stickiness is vital for their function, but can cause consternation when it comes to recycling the products that they're used with. To tackle this, researchers at the University of York, UK, claim that they have now developed a “switchable” starch-based adhesive that can be removed easily.
