This paper is from 2006. I'm hoping there have been further strides to formulate "green" solvents. Is there new information to supplement this paper? Who are the best companies to work with on hazardous solvent alternatives? I have a specific application that is challenging. BLO (butrylactone) is heated and used to clean resin from equipment/work surfaces. I believe it works because it emulsifies the resin to loosen it from surfaces. I'd like to find a replacement for this solvent.
