It's Not All or Nothing for Custom Raw Materials

SpecialChem / Oct 1, 2013

It's logical that the best raw materials can make the best adhesive, improving its performance or lowering its cost. A company that can make novel raw materials that are better than what its competition has access to would therefore have an important competitive advantage. Adhesive producers can therefore exploit the fact that custom raw materials provide an opportunity to get ahead instead. September's Click'n'Vote poll shows that slightly more SpecialChem4Adhesives (SC4AS) readers do take that opportunity than don't. However, customization choices differ widely, and make intriguing suggestions about industry strategies.
