When Using Plasticizers in PSA, what is the main benefit expected?

A Plasticizer is a substance which is added to a formulation to decrease the Tg of the adhesive. Plasticizers are not "simple" additives; they are major components which have a significant influence on the performances of the adhesive formulation.
