Creating much-needed flexibility, elasticity and toughness in caulks and sealants, plasticizers improve and optimize the performance of many types of sealants, including latex caulks, polyurethane sealants, polysulfide sealants and PVC plastisol sealants.
With the enactment of REACH regulations in the European Union, manufacturers are now adopting non-phthalate options for their sealants.
Marketed and safely used for more than 40 years, Eastman non-phthalate plasticizers have an extensive toxicological profile and broad regulatory clearances that demonstrate their suitability for many uses including the most sensitive applications.
