DKSH has signed a distribution agreement with Hexion Inc., a producer of adhesives and performance materials, in Indonesia. By distributing Hexion’s Versatic™ acids and derivatives, DKSH will boost business opportunities and market growth for the partnership across the region.
DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials, a distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, will provide market analysis and research, marketing, sales, logistics, and distribution services for Hexion Inc.’s range of Versatic™ acids and derivatives in Indonesia.
Monomers Suitable for Adhesives
Hexion’s Versatic™ acids and derivatives portfolio includes Cardura™ glycidyl ester and
VeoVa™ vinyl esters. These specialty monomers provide significant performance advantages for finished coatings, including superior adhesion, hydrolytic stability, water resistance, appearance, and ease of application. Applications for these specialty monomers include decorative, automotive, and protective coatings as well as other uses such as adhesives and intermediates.
DKSH to grow Hexion’s Versatics business across Indonesia due to its extensive distribution network, knowledgeable commercial and technical teams, strong capabilities in logistics, and its value-added services, including market research and analysis.
