Pigments
Pigments are finely ground natural or synthetic particles added to impart color and improve the aesthetics of the adhesives / sealants. Some pigments are known to deliver a desired physical and chemical property to the formulation. For polymers like PVC and epoxies various colorants are used, pigment dispersions are employed with acrylics, epoxies, polyurethanes; carbon blacks and titanium oxides are also often used with different polymers to impart color to adhesive formulations.
