RHEOLATE® 185

RHEOLATE® 185 by Elementis is a low to mid-shear, low viscosity, solvent- & APEO-free, acrylic thickener. This shear thinning rheological additive is a cost-effective alkali soluble associative thickener. It is specially designed to replace cellulosic thickeners. It offers better applied hide, less spattering and resistance to mud-cracking. It displays resistance to microbial spoilage and provides excellent leveling. This additive prevents hard settling upon dilution. It is used in adhesives and sealants. The typical use levels of RHEOLATE® 185 are 0.5-2% as delivered on total system weight. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
