RHEOLATE® 212

RHEOLATE® 212 is a VOC-free, 20% solids polyether polyurethane associative thickener and flow modifier. It can be used alone with small particle size latex systems or in combination with a co-thickener such as RHEOLATE® 655 or RHEOLATE® 666 if higher mid-shear (package) viscosity is required. It is a bio-stable, pH independent and pourable liquid with a shelf life of 2 years. Exhibits superior spatter resistance and does not detract from gloss or wet adhesion. Provides improved film leveling and high shear-rate viscosity build in water-borne adhesives and sealants. Typical dosage level of RHEOLATE® 212 is 0.5-5 % (thickener solids weight) on total system weight.
