Pemulen™ 1621 by Lubrizol is a high molecular weight, crosslinked copolymer of acrylic acid and a hydrophobic comonomer. Used as a rheology modifier and emulsifying agent with additional abilities to suspend insoluble particles and enhance viscosity. It can also be used as a moderate thickening agent. Pemulen™ 1621 produces long-term stable emulsions of oils.
