Pemulen™ 1622 by Lubrizol is a high molecular weight, crosslinked copolymer of acrylic acid and a hydrophobic comonomer. Used as a emulsifying agent with additional abilities to suspend insoluble particles and enhance viscosity. It produces long-term stable emulsions of oils. Pemulen™ 1622 can also be used as a low thickening agent.
