Matrimid® 2292 by Huntsman is a diallyl ether of bisphenol-A based low viscosity resin. Used as a reactive diluent with epoxy, bismaleimide and polyimides. Exhibits excellent mechanical properties at ambient and elevated temperatures and good toughness. An excellent component for RTM bismaleimide systems. Matrimid® 2292 provides reactivity similar to the diallyl bisphenol A. Applications include high performance structural adhesives. Used in exterior vehicle (OEM), interior vehicle (OEM), vehicle assembly (OEM),battery cover sealing & battery assembly, cable sealing, motor and magnet bonding, potting and encapsulating, assembly, thermally & electrically conductive, household appliance assembly, sporting goods, medical device assembly, aircraft & aerospace, marine, rail, recreational vehicle, truck, sport & leisure and wind in adhesive applications.
