Resulting Properties
'Blocked' urethane adhesives are termed 'blocked' by virtue of the fact that one of the key reactants is chemically blocked to prevent reaction. Sealants or adhesive compositions of this formulation are moisture curable compositions that adhere tenaciously to a wide variety of surfaces, form tack-free surfaces after being exposed to the atmosphere for only a short period of time, and form a cure within a matter of hours after being applied.
-
The sealant showed excellent stability upon being stored in sealed containers. The sealant will not deteriorate after being stored for six months at 25° C in an atmosphere having a relative humidity of 50%.
-
Shore A hardness of 31 after being exposed for 3 weeks to a 50 percent relative humidity atmosphere at 25°C
