The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) held its 8th annual Innovation Awards at the 2024 Annual Convention & Expo in Louisville, KY on April 16, 2024. The Innovation awards recognize the top three innovations from the adhesive and sealant industry. Independent judges reviewed the following categories and weightings as part of their review process:

Recipients Recognized at ASC 2024 Annual Convention
ASC judges reviewed submittal packages and the following were the winners of the 2024 awards:
The 2024 Innovation Award winner was
H.B. Fuller and Jayesh Bokria, Thomas Kauffman, Andrew Prybylowski, David McDougall and team for their development entitled “Thermoplastic Encapsulant Platform for Photovoltaic Modules”. H.B. Fuller’s TPx platform enables lower LCOE and supply chain versatility while ensuring the critical performance requirements for thin-film modules by leveraging underutilized raw material feedstreams.
1st Runner Up went to Bostik with a development called “Copolyester Based Compostable Cold Seal for Heat Sensitive Packaging: Turbo-Seal
® LOOP 1.0”.
2nd Runner Up went to Geisys Ventures, LLC for a development titled “D-Glue – A debondable adhesive platform.”
