Published on 2021-08-03. Edited By : SpecialChem

MKVSThe 46th edition of the Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium 2021 will take place as scheduled in Munich from 25 – 27 October 2021, at the Westin Grand Hotel Munich, Germany with maximum health and safety measures supported by the Westin conference hotel team.

The symposium will focus on pressure-sensitive adhesives-raw materials – applications – process engineering. Adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic the 46. Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium 2021 will be organized as a hybrid platform and networking event.

Event to Feature Live Web Streaming for Q&A

The Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium Hybrid combine a “live” on-site with a “virtual” online component. A physical event with all the vibes of human life and a simultaneous virtual event that still gives you the possibility to interact with all participants – “on-site” or “on-line”.

With the live web-streaming as well as the recording of the conference presentations there will be the possibility of a video-on-demand after the symposium for all registered delegates via the conference website.

With all these considerations and forward planning, the organizers are of course subject to the further development of the pandemic. The organizers trust that the situation will again ease considerably by the end of October 2021 and that further steps towards normality will have been taken.

The organizers will react quickly and flexibly to all developments. They assure all friends and supporters of the Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium that the maximum health safety for all participants is of paramount importance to them.

The organizers believe that the Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium 2021 will be the new beginning of the industry in terms of personal communication, customer loyalty and networking.

46. MKVS 2021 Hybrid – Program Overview

The 46th edition of Munich Adhesives and Finishing Symposium has its focus on pressure-sensitive adhesives and covers the whole span from raw materials, applications to process engineering for and within all involved adhesive systems (dispersions, solvent-borne products, reactive systems; hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives) including extrudable films as well as the related technical equipment.

Divided into five sessions, the subjects with all submitted abstracts recently online launched very interesting program ranges across the whole areas of gluing, printing and converting industry and include business strategy, materials, processing, design, legislation and regulation, sustainability, research, development and innovation – mainly in paper, plastic, foil, self-adhesive materials, tape and label, packaging, coating and lamination as well as non-woven related applications.
