Increasing Fire Resistance Capacity of the Buildings


Earlier Dolphin-Fire Stop Silicon Sealant had bagged approval and certification from the Sharjah Civil Defense. Dolphin-Fire Stop Silicone Sealant is tested and approved by Efectis, the Turkey based fire safety expert entity in testing and modeling, certification, education and inspection of fire safety products.

"As a UAE-based local manufacturer of products, we are proud to introduce the Dolphin-Fire Stop Silicone Sealant, which is a unique product in its capability to resist fire for longer hours and at higher temperatures. Using the product will help shore up fire resistance in buildings, and for the construction industry of the UAE, it will offer a much-needed value addition," said Mr. Safdar Badami, managing director, Al Muqarram Group.

Protect Buildings Up to 400°C


The Dolphin-Fire Stop Silicone Sealant can resist fire for four hours at a stretch and protect buildings against heat of up to a temperature of 400 degree Celsius.

The product is a single component, neutral cure, gun grade fire stopping sealant tested and approved by independent laboratories across the world and the region for its efficacy.

The group’s production facilities spread across UAE with a total area of over 20000 sq.m including the production plants and warehouses.

"Beyond the proven efficiency and value addition of the product to the building material and construction industries, it is also significant to note that it is a UAE manufactured product, contributing to the growth of the manufacturing sector of the country in general," added Mr. Badami.

The brand owned by Al Muqarram Group, manufacturer of a range of products for construction insulation, automotive, and HVAC industries was also the first fire rated product to be launched in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
