Bonding Material to Support Super-fast Charging
DuPont collaborated with Audi to develop a bonding material to support super-fast charging for the Audi e-tron. Optimized with Dupont's BETAFORCE™ 2800 TC, the Audie-tron battery maintains optimal temperature during charging and driving, helps deliver a range of more than 400 kilometers and supports super-fast 150kW charging according to the company.
Dupont reports that the BETAFORCE™ TC thermal-conductive 2K adhesives support the rapidly growing vehicle electrification space and can significantly reduce the number of components needed for battery pack assembly, optimizing cost for battery pack design.
