Panacol Develops New UV Cure Epoxy-based Adhesive for Plastic and Metal DecorationPanacol launches Vitralit® UC 6685, a one component, transparent, UV cure adhesive based on epoxy resin. The adhesive is suitable for decorations on plastic, glass and metal. Vitralit® UC 6685 has a slight magnifying property which produces a high-quality image of the structures and illustrations underneath.

Easy to Dispense Transparent Adhesive

The adhesive is easy to dispense. The viscosity of the adhesive makes it suitable for decorative applications on flacons and bottles or for dome coatings. Vitralit® UC 6685 can also be used as an elegant protective coating for key rings, lapel pins, buttons, name tags, pens and jewelry.

The adhesive cures under UV light in the wavelength ranging from 320 nm to 390 nm. Vitralit® UC 6685 is cured within a few seconds, enabling a high cycle rate in the production process. After getting cured, Vitralit® UC 6685 is very hard and scratch-resistant. The adhesive is characterized by its transparency and does not get yellow as it ages.
