UPM Raflatac launches UPM Raflatac RW85C, a label adhesive with wash-off technology for PET containers to enhance recyclability. The adhesive is part of the UPM Raflatac SmartCircle™ sustainable product range.
Offers Industry-leading Clarity and Haze
The majority of recyclable PET plastic packaging is downcycled due to the non-separation of labels during the recycling process. UPM Raflatac’s wash-off label adhesive separate easily and yields industry-leading clarity and haze. This leads to high-value PET flakes suitable for newly formed PET containers.
The adhesive solution is recognized by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) for meeting the Critical Guidance testing requirements.
