Pentaerythritol ester of rosin. Provides superior tackifying action to synthetic and natural rubber applications for adhesives and hot melts. Highly compatible with the more non-polar elastomers like EPDM, butyl, natural and SBR. Provides wetting action for filler/rubber, speed up incorporation time of mineral fillers, cohesion of the compound matrix. Reduces compound viscosity at process temperatures. Improves rubber to metal/fibers interaction/bonding.
